Hi Pam,

No, you don't *have* to eat the yogurt or anything else that is legal

on the diet. Once the yogurt is tolerated many find that it boosts

teir healing. Others use legal probiotics, nut yogurt or non dairy

fermented foods (kimchi, sauerkraut etc.)

The intro diet should be done for a maximium of 2-5 days. 4-5 days for

diarrhea, 2-3 days for everything else (constipation, etc.)

You can continue to eat the soup for as long as you like.

At the beginning all fruits and vegetables should be peeled and

cooked. As symptoms improve you should be able to try increasingly

more complex foods and some cooked with peels and eventually work up to

raw fruit and vegetables.
