Surveys like this can be misleading. First of all,

the sample size is really small. Finding an average

in a group that small means that any outlying number

(a number that's really high or really low) can skew

the final result. I'd be more interested in polling

patients who've had the condition for more than, say,

10 years, to see what the upper end of " chronic "

really means. Plus, of the 48% who said their rosacea

cleared, we don't know how long they have been

" clear, " and whether or not this is really a temporary

remission. A natural history study of rosacea would

be a very interesting and useful project, I would

think.
