Hi! I'm new at skin problems (got thru my teens clear as day!) but at 38 I'm

having a terrible time. I tried Noritate for two days so far and my rash

has gotten redder and burns and itches...I never really felt it before.

Is this typical or should I stop using it?

I think that Noritate is a stronger formulation than some of the metros or

the klaron formulation. I know someone suggested you talk to your doc

first, which is the best thing...Everything with cea depends on your own

unique experiences with it and your body/responses. Only you can judge your

pain level and your comfort with your rosacea.

Since it's the weekend and talking to your doc may take some time, you might

also want to try applying a thinner layer of the noritate. You can try

applying it after you wash your face; leftover water can help smooth it on

while using less of the creme. And I think you're only supposed to apply it

once a day, unlike some of the other cremes. (you may even want to try

every other day?? This is such a wacky disease that it's anyone's guess

what will work for you.)

Your doc should have samples for you to be trying, so you don't have to

spend the money during the trial and error phase (which could be ongoing or

not).

good luck.
