I know you will be very happy. Maybe you'll have to get a " doggie " yourself

there. I don't want any pets anymore due to the walking & doctoring them. I

have a plenty with myself & traveling way , est. wouldn't be able to care

for them properly.. I know you do love animals though, same as you do all

people....Actually you love 'em all. :)

You are so very organized, it doesn't surprise me that all is in order &

already for the move. Best wishes in your new own......HOME.......Oakland

I AM FINALLY MOVING INTO MY NEW APARTMENT ON SATURDAY.

It will be hard leaving my friends' four very sweet and chummy wolfdogs

who love my part of the house and are convinced that I am an eternal

source of food and affection. It will be hard leaving my friends, but I am

only moving about three miles away. The biggie, gang, and this is a

MAJOR IDENTITY CRISIS: I WILL BE ONE-QUARTER BLOCK INTO

OAKLAND! Not Berkeley. I shall no longer be " Baffled in Berkeley, "

at least technicly. I guess I shall be something dull, like " Organized in

Oakland. " I will think of something.

Tomorrow I see the orthopedist about my broken elbow. Friday I sign

the lease on the new place and look at it for real--I have already seen

it's twin around the corner. Saturday friends move me. Saturday late

(possibly night) I grocery shop (yes, there are elevators) and set up the

kitchen and spend the next six months obsessing about everything.

Should be back on line no later than Monday, and possibly by Saturday,

same e-mail address. For those who have my telephone number, it will

change, and will be listed through information and I will give it to those

who had the old one. Even Cable will follow me. Electronicly, I will be

appropriately connected.

Thank you, all who gave me many helpful suggestions about food and

the kitchen. I honestly think I can handle the rest by myself, but the die

tary and shoping tips I really rely on.
