Guest guest
Carol, Thanks...now I understand about the canned stuff...may have other ingredients not listed. The sausages I am using are: Shelton's Turkey sausage patties (frozen) and Klodzko Valley uncured polish sausage. I am using Hickory smoked bacon w/o sugar although it does have some sodium nitrate in it. ~Jill (pianogarden1@...) > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I have 2 questions...the first is...why is it illegal to use canned > > foods like pumpkin and green beans? I don't mind but take exception to added sulfites in things. Did you check the spices in the sausage? I would say more than half of our discussions revolve around what is and is not OK in commercial foods. Carol F.
