People who are sensitive to sulfites may wish to avoid dried fruits. Many dried fruits have sulfites added. Carol F. Guest guest
Fifteen days on SCD isn't really long enough to be adding raisins to the diet anyway or any other dried fruits. Take a look at the chart on pecanbread.com to get an idea of the relative ease of digestion of foods. http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#beyond Beans and dried fruits shouldn't be added until significant healing has taken place. I would start back with very simple, easy-to-digest foods. Squash, green beans, carrots, ripe bananas, applesauce, cooked and cooked fruits, avocado, eggs, meat. Start with a few of these things and then add food slowly. It will probably be a good 6 months before adding beans or dried fruits will be appropriate.
