Two different " clean " brands in the past had corn dusted on them. Not on the label; I put in calls to the companies to find out what the heck that stuff was. What are you baking? My son is high aluminum too. -christine

I read your warning on about some baking papers being treated. I am waiting for a reply from Loblaws. Thankfully the reaction is over but I won't use the paper again until I get the all clear. Sometimes we get so paranoid, but the pain is real. I used two other items that may be suspect. Carol F. Guest guest
I'm using Reynold's wax paper for the first stage of my acorn squash " cracker " and then bake again (and again and again) on aluminum foil... now I'm concerned about this darn WAX paper... what the heck's on/in IT?! Guest guest
Hi all: aluminum, when it gets in your body, it attaches very tightly and it is very very difficult to get out of your system. even with all theconcerns about the papers, I would be much much more concerned about using aluminum, especially if heating it. Like Dr. Freedenfeld said at the Long Beach, CA DAN! conference: " when you cook or bake and the aluminum foil gets all dark, where do you think it went? ... in your food! Guest guest
My son tested high for aluminum from a hair sample also, but our DAN said it might not be anything because most shampoos have aluminum in them, and this tends to show up in the testing. Not to say anyone should cook with aluminum, but maybe not really the issue. > > > > I'm using Reynold's wax paper for the first stage of my acorn squash > > " cracker " and then bake again (and again and again) on aluminum > > foil... now I'm concerned about this darn WAX paper... what the heck's > > on/in IT?! > > > > Lynn > > > > > > > > > > > > Try parchment paper for some things. > > > > > > > > Carol F. > > > > SCD 6 years, celiac, SCD Cooking Classes > > > > > > > > > > > > > Just be careful it is not 'dusted' with something.
