Guest guest
I'm new here, but I've been reading this board for some time. Just thought I'd let you know about things I've tried. I was diagnosed with rosacea at about 17, 24 years ago. It's gradually gotten worse and now it's progressed to nearly my whole face. I started out with tetracycline, erythromycin, metrogel, noritate...all tried at different times and none of them worked. I was told to stop washing my face altogether, to wash it twice a day, don't get too hot, don't get too cold. It's soooo frustrating. I tried hydrochloric acid tablets along with all B vitamins except niacin. This by far worked the best, but not constantly. About 8 days ago I went to see a new dermatologist and he put me on tetracycline (again) along with Protopic ointment. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found him...and this treatment. My face looks better now than it has in years and I'm not exaggerating. I know it's hard to beloeve, but my kids and my husband noticed the change within 3 days. Has anyone else had this kind of success with this? I'm interested to know.
