Guest guest
Karyn, Has your pain doc mentioned anything about dextomethorphan(sp?) used to cut down on the quickness with which you build a tolerance to pain meds?? My doc says it does woek for some people. Diane H Tn State Rep > It is a balancing act for me. I cycle through the different pain medications, routes, dosages, and taper off as much as I can, because I quickly build up a tolerance to them all. By taking myself off of them regularly and by alternating them, I am able to resume the medication at the original lower dose. This has helped plateau off my dosage increases. > > > Karyn E. , RN > Founder / Executive Director > Pancreatitis Association International > Corp.
