We have been receiving requests for the tapes. It has been unfortunate

timing since the symposium. We will have the 2002 Symposium tapes out by the

end of January. It takes a surprising amount of work to edit and prepare the

tapes to copy.

A free videotape will be given to an individual who would be interested in

preparing a pre-post test of the symposium tape to be used for CEU credits.

Please let me know if you are interesting in this project.

The 2003 symposium will be set up to provide CEU credits to doctors, nurses,

social workers, dietitian's, etc. This will increase attendance at the

symposium as well as promote our professional vision and educational

component of our mission. Kimber, thank you for you suggestion to do a CEU

test for the tapes, too!

you are welcome. The only thing that made me think of it is

that alot of my coworkers get their CEU credits from

videotapes on specific healthcare topics, issues, etc. I

figured this information is on the same level (they've

nicely let me attend those sessions so I have some idea of

what is in the tapes.)

You might want to ask one of the members who's a nurse to do

the CEUs as they'd be most familiar with what kind of

questions are asked on the CEU tests.
