Let me repeat what I did and I have lost 80 lbs so far and I am 5 months post

op. After surgery and I began to get a little hungry I made some delicious

soup that is very very filling. Put in a sauce pan 2 cups of water and 3

bullion cubes (chicken) then add thinly sliced and chopped carrots, celery,

onions and potatoes. Cook til tender and smash veggies with fork and eat.

Very tasty. Then after I got use to that I started adding a can of the cream

of Chicken or Mushroom soup that is 98% fat free to make it even more hearty

and filling. It sets really well on your new tummy and is good for you. You

can cook other veggies that you like or can add a little jar chopped

pimentoes/ hard boiled eggs that are chopped finely and let your imagination

go wild. good luck from in Missouri

Hi Marie,

I feel the same way you do....I'm afraid to eat anything except maybe

applesauce. I'm 2 weeks post-op and I'm still on Juices, yogurt, soup,

sugar-free jello & banana popsicles. I read that you can lose more (or faster)

if you stay on the luquids (Stage 1) for 4 weeks, so I am going to try my best

to do that. How about you?

18.5 lbs lost as of 6/7 (yeah!)

surgery was last Friday and I am afraid to do anything but liquids

until at least 10-14 days. I guess I'm just a " big chicken " . I'm

still measuring everything just to make sure I don't drink too much!!

Wow Genz, I can't believe you can already eat a sandwich! That is

great no wonder you didn't want to wait and be my littermate on

Friday!!! LOL

Glad you are home,

Marie
