Guest guest
Myrna, For the PICC line, they just numbed the inside of my upper left arm with 3 shots of lidocaine. After that there was no pain. They use ultrasound to find the vein. It is stitched in place with three stitches. I have to flush it twice a day with heparin. The home health nurse changes the dressing 3 times a week. W Re: groshong catheter & PICC lines / W. >>>Yes, it does sound the same, I mean the PICC line ... I am not sure if a Groshong is any different ... Myrna <<<<
