Congrats

I just don't understand why every one has such a hard time getting their ssd.

I applied for cassie may 1st of this year by July 15th we we getting checks.

And Medicade for her. Yeh i do work and i have health insurance. I did do

my homework prior to applying, left no items blank on the application ,all

answers clear and complete and i did have some kind of diagnosis in hand even

if it's idiopathic. Also i wrote almost a 2 page essay describing the many

aspects of the effects on her daily life and the ability to provide for her

needs. I talked about all aspects off her life. and I also had a psyc

evaluation of the mental effect this has on her to. Talk about every thing

from increased costs due to meds and changes in Diet and the additional

expenses we inccur. If you are not a good writter tell some one who is and

let them put it all in words for you. All her doctors knew in advance we were

applying and agreed that ssd would be a good idea for her.

hope this helps others in the future sorry you had to go through a big mess

to get what you needed. hope this turns things around for you. God bless

> My problem was the bum atorney I had. I had documentation from

everywhere, I have been to the Mayo Clinic and numberous pain

managemnt Dr.s mutiple G.I,'s, IUMC. I am 36 with a licence in

nursing and they felt I was employable, my previous attorney never

submitted the medical records I provided to the SS. The only

documents they had ever recievd were the ones I provided when I

applied. Being a nurse I knew what to fill out and how to fill it out

and I never left any blanks, I fully explained my health and it's

ramifications on my ability to work and have a life, I think it boils

down to the fact they just don't care. All of that is over now and I

have received my letter of favorablilty, I just hope by reading this

anyone eles out there will just keep trying don't let them just keep

telling you NO, we have help available to us right here, just utilize

it. I can not tell you how impressed we were when Mr. McAuley came to

our rescue, within a few short months we had a court and date and it

took 1 week from the time I went to court to get my judgment. There

was a Dr. there that had never looked at my records and tried to say

things that the medical records did not reflect, and Mr. McAuley ate

him for breakfast, he had the man babbling and not even able to lift

his head up, he would not look at me or him.

It was an amazing experience, we will for ever be grateful for my

attorney Mr. McAuley.
