Guest guest
Hi! I've been using Revlon's new complexion corrective powder compact in the " even out " color for about a week now. It's yellow, goes on smooth and neutralizes the redness in my cheeks. Hope this helps. Guest guest
A while back, a gentleman posted several messages re: Clarins tinted moisturizer, said he had great success with it. I checked out a sample and the texture is very sheer. Do search on the board for Clarins or tinted moisturizer to read his posts. Might also consider the one of the Vitamin K solutions that are becoming increasingly popular. This would at least help eliminate the need for a coverup. > Can anyone recommend a make-up or cover up brand and item name that a > man can use to hide tiny spider veins and overall redness. Guest guest
Pam, Do you have oily or dry skin. I have oily skin and was wondering how the Revlon corrective powder would work for me. I have used the Irondale powders and they made my skin very very oily. Is there any type of oil or moisturizer in this Revlon powder? Guest guest
Although a woman, I HATE to look made-up, and have been looking for ways to tone down the redness not obviously. Like Pam, I like the Revlon New Complexion compact in the yellowish " even-out " color, but for my skin find that it can look a bit " off. " But the Revlon New Complexion Even Out Makeup is very good. It's SPF 20 (Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide only, no chemical sunscreen) and has lots of the 'cones - no bad reaction for me, anyway. Costs about $10 for 1 oz tube. The colors are yellow-toned rather than pinkish, so they work well if you're fighting a red look. Sand Beige is an almost perfect match to my skin color (when it's not red) and is basically invisible on my face (except that it does cover up the redness and fine veins). Because it's a drugstore item, you might have a hard time finding the perfect color match, but for me, at least, this has been by far the best. I found it about three years ago, actually because I was looking for a skin-toned SPF lotion or cream with no chemical sunscreens but lots of cyclo- and di-methicone, and have been delighted. Every once in a while I look at another makeup, and decide it's too pinkish for my skin. Even the ones that set you back an arm and a leg - at least you get to sample those before you buy. Hope this helps, > > Can anyone recommend a make-up or cover up brand and > > item name that a > > man can use to hide tiny spider veins and overall > > redness.
