Bear,

sometimes birth control pills can cause pancreatitis. The

best thing is to wait at least a week and then restart them

and take only the lowest dose type you can get. I had at

least one attack attributed to birth control because I

started it too soon after having a previous attack. I found

if I waited a week after being discharged, I my pancreas was

sufficiently healed that it didn't react to the birth

control pills.
