Guest guest
I've been treating in Dr. Bitter's Los Gatos office for about 10 months. At the time of my initial consultation, I found the staff friendly and accommodating and had no problems getting answers to all my questions. I was also able to meet Dr. Bitter at that consultation and he sat down with me for 10-15 minutes, even though he was training other drs that day. The woman who does the initial consultations is the office manager. I do not think she has a medical background. It might be that, because your case was so mild, they thought you were merely window shopping and didn't want to invest too much time with you. Not to say that's a good thing, but I'm sure they get more than their share of window shoppers. I had a severe case of rosacea before starting treatments in their Los Gatos office. Throughout the course of my treatment, I have found his office to be helpful, understanding and sensitive. Dr. Bitter comes across as a compassionate individual and you get the sense he really doesn't do this just for the money. He always talks about how much these procedures are helping people. I would be leery of any doctor who puts down one of his peers in front of patients. This is extremely unprofessional. As far as not being a dermatologist; he doesn't advertise himself as a clinical dermatologist. He's a cosmetic dermatologist. Most patients don't go to him to be placed on the routine metro_ and tetracycline regimen. We go there to clean up what the traditional modalities failed to prevent. Guest guest
Dear , A very nice note re/Dr. Bitter, Sr. As I said, if I ever do decide that I should have Photoderm, I will go to Dr. Bitter. I do still maintain however that he was not helpful for me at my new stage in rosacea...I needed his recommendations, not simply his acquiescence. Peace.
