Guest guest Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 Debora, Because you have already done the intro diet for 5 days and because you have such limited food choices, you might want to consider adding in applesauce and very ripe bananas. These are foods that are known for helping diarrhea plus they would be in the very next stage of the diet anyway. I made the applesauce by peeling, coring, and cutting up eight apples, added 2/3 c. water, and cooked until soft. Very easy to make and no sweetener needed! Also, peppermint tea is known to calm the bowels. My edition of BTVC says that weak tea is allowed. Hope this helps.
