Guest guest
Hi Martha, How about pecans? We suggest people to start with either pecans or blanched almonds. Guest guest
IgG tests do not indicate TRUE allergies. IgE tests do. If you are concerned that your child may actually be allergic to nuts, an IgE test will need to be done. They can be done by a skin prick test or a RAST blood test. Guest guest
Hi Martha, > Sheila - Thanks for your reply. My concern is that the IgG testing > came back that he is allergic to all of the nuts shown as SCD > legal. I'm concerned if I try one of them he may have a strong > allergic reaction. I suggested pecans because along with blanched almonds Elaine said they are the easiest to digest and because you didn't list pecans with the other IGg results. Coconut ( shredded or flour) is much more fibrous and is harder to digest when many symptoms are still present. If you do decide to try one of the nuts eventually, blanched (if possible) and ground to either a nut butter or nut flour is easiest to digest.
