Hi All,

I'm new to the group and have been following your posts for about a day now

with great interest. My current treatment is Noritate with Minocycline,

which I started about a week ago. My doctor also recommended Plexion

cleanser but said not to get it if the insurance didn't cover it so I

didn't. I'm using Cetaphil and so far so good.

I think I've had rosacea for some time, probably about 15 years (I'm 35

now), but it was not too bad until recently, when I finally couldn't take it

anymore and realized what was happening to me wasn't normal.

I can count on flushing about once a day, usually in the afternoon. I run

once the sun goes down, about 7:40 here in Miami during this time of year.

Although I run for about 45 minutes to an hour and do get over-heated, I've

found exercise does not aggravate my rosacea as much as other triggers (sun,

heat).

My main concern is the burning and itching -- the redness I can live with.

Since they go hand in hand, though, I can't exactly pick and choose.

Thanks for all the great posts,

Gloria

Re: Re: GOLD BOND

Hi. I've been using the Gold Bond lotion for sensitive

skin (in the white bottle) for over a month now and am

very pleased with the results. I have mild rosacea

with very large pores, oily skin and flakes on one

cheek. My pores seem smaller, my complexion is much

smoother and less greasy and the flakes have

decreased. I use it in the morning and before I go to

bed. I also wash with Phisoderm at night and Cetaphil

cleansing bar in the morning. The only makeup I use is

Revlon's New Complexion Corrective Powder compact in

the " even out " color, which has a yellowish tint to

it.
