Guest guest
Yes, the result is very likely wrong. One physician told me that there is a 50% error rate in the organic acid testing. If you see symptoms of yeast, then it is likely that your observations are more correct than the test. Have you tried Candex? One thing you might consider is to try giving Candex, and then if you see " sandy " stools, that would be a symptom of yeast die-off, which would be an indication that there is yeast. Hope this helps, Marilyn leaky gut, low thyroid/adrenal, SCD 3 months Yeast and bacteria indication in organic acid test > Hi, > > I have just received the result of an Organic Acid Test. Guest guest
a few things to know about clinically identifying yeast: children who have yeast problems, especially Candida species, usually have very red cheeks (face), they also might have a red rim around the anus ( bottom), which may or not have the signature " satellite lesions " associated with candida. that is how the doctor can tell when a child has diaper rash if it is chemical by irritation or true candida. it looks like red spots with elevated centers ( if you look closely) that are surrounded by some fading redness that is not generally continuous unless it is already very bad, they look like stars in the sky. it also gets very bad around skin fold areas (humidity). their buttock gets very skinny and their tummies get very big, like in starvation malnutrition. some but not all might have the white patches in the mouth (in more active local mouth disease) or thick coating in tongue (systemic). there are lots of signs to note even before any labs are done. i hope this helps maria mom to fiol 14 mo ASD > > Hi , > > > I have just received the result of an Organic Acid Test.
