Guest guest
A while back, some were inquiring about the word " agape " that uses in her closing. I just read in Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney: " The greek word agape refers to a self-sacrificing love. It's a love that gives to others even if nothing is given back. It's the love we are urged to pursue in the great love pasage of 1 Corinthians 13, so often read at weddings. " I read this and thought of all of us who are showing this type of love to our families as we make this journey through SCD. It is admirable, and I am continually inspired by those on this list who are willing to change the style of their lives for the sake of others. Hugs to all:)!
