I also follow a low glycemic index eating plan for another health

condition, and I have to agree that it does help keep my face pale.

Another thing I do is to have at least 4 servings of cruciferous

vegetables (like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts,

etc.) each day in a soup so I eat the nutrients that have leeched

into the liquid in which I've cooked the vegetables. This has helped

me the most with inflammation. I can't take high doses of Ester-C or

Vitamin A because of stomach upset. Also, I fear taking megadoses of

vitamins anyway because my system seems so sensitive to the side

effects. The vegetables are a safe way for me to get vitamins, and

they help my skin tremendously.
