Guest guest
I also follow a low glycemic index eating plan for another health condition, and I have to agree that it does help keep my face pale. Another thing I do is to have at least 4 servings of cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts, etc.) each day in a soup so I eat the nutrients that have leeched into the liquid in which I've cooked the vegetables. This has helped me the most with inflammation. I can't take high doses of Ester-C or Vitamin A because of stomach upset. Also, I fear taking megadoses of vitamins anyway because my system seems so sensitive to the side effects. The vegetables are a safe way for me to get vitamins, and they help my skin tremendously.
