Guest guest
Hi Gang, I am pre-op and have Venous Stasis Disease. My legs are marked (on the front ) from my ankles to nearly my knees. They look like black & blue marks, very discolored, and since I've had this disease (4 years) have not changed at all. My question is...if anyone has the same disease and is post-op, has the color of your legs changed? I know the damage to my veins is not reversible except for a delicate and lengthly operation, but I was wondering if I would experince any change in color? I would so dearly love my legs to be a normal color again. This would be especially nice when I'm thin and can wear shorts, skirts and dresses again. Has anyone asked their doc about this condition and the chance of their legs returning to a normal color? It never entered my mind to ask because I had so many other questions that I considered more important. This being just cosmetic in nature, I didn't think much about it till now. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks much. Hugs and Blessings, Rose Pre-Op In My HANDS I Hold Today... In My DREAMS I Hold Tomorrow... In My FAITH I Hold Forever.
