Guest guest
Jim, The National Runaway Switchboard Crisis Line/ Linea Abierta Nacional Para Jovenes Que Huyen de Casa @ 1-800-621-4000 would be a good one to include. I talked to the NRS switchboard and they said they almost always have a Spanish-speaking volunteer working. When there is no Spanish speaker available, they have direct access to the AT & T Language Line. Could you please post your final list on this listserv? I would like to pass this list along to our families. Thank you! Guest guest
This is a great list of bilingual health & social services, and I will suggest to the National Council of La Raza that they compile it, expand upon it, then publish and disseminate it to Hispanic/Latino communities around the U.S. -- perhaps in conjunction with another NCLR product. See what we, a grassroots group of Hispanic/Latinos and advocates around the county, can produce! This is tangible evidence of our growing influence and power base. Let's keep it up!
