Guest guest
(Torsten, Silke, Fiona and Baby On The Way....Here here!) A Happy (and more importantly, HEALTHY) New Year to ALL on this list! Here on the East Coast (in the U.S.A.) we're just over an hour away from saying good-bye to 2002 and hello to 2003 and all I can think about is how very fortunate I have been this past year to have such an amazing group of friends on this list that (fairly) anonomously give me and my family reason to remain on the positive side of the fence with regards to my son Jack, now almost 21 months old with CF. It feel so VERY good to feel optimistic at last!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that once the ball drops (the ritual in Times Square, and Thank Heavens I'm NOT there; with the sealed-up post boxes and manhole-covers), I'll turn off the lights, take off my slippers, creep upstairs to my Son's room, and cry tears of thanks on him for our fortune in finding this group. At last, the glass that holds my family's water is NO longer half-empty, and it's NOT even half-full....IT IS brimming over with optimism and knowledge, for which I thank you all!!! Respectfully and peacefully yours, Paige, Quinn and Jack (almost 21 months old with CF) Re: Welcome to cfparents > > > Hello, > > My name is . I have three beautiful children ages 6, 3 1/2 & 1year 3 months. > My 1 year old has cf. The first year was definitely a roller coaster ride. She was hospitalized twice in her first year, hospitalization was within nine weeks of each other. It is hard on the 6 year old. He asks 101 questions, and I just answer them as well as I can. At times it is very heartbreaking. Thanks for the e-mail. Please keep in touch. > > Jenn > > >
