there were more long term remissions in the 80's with accutane for

acne pts. they were really serious about high doses back then, many

people getting 1.5 to 2.0 mg/kg their first time for the 5 - 6 month

period -- exceeding the brit j of derm 120 g/kg total cumulative dose

guideline... this, of course, is bad for rosaceans, but good for

long term remissions.
