I am driving my husband crazy so it gives him a break when I can read

the posts everyone sends. I have had him on this up and down roller

coaster about WLS for 3 years now. He is a State Trooper and said he

is bringing his handcuffs to Durham so I don't jump off the stretcher

at the last minute (ha!HA!) Again thank you guys and all the other

people on this list who have been so kind and answered my questions.

Durham bound soon,

Kim,

The handcuffs are a good idea....you never know when you might want

to handcuff a good lookin' guy to your bed. Oh I forgot....you're

married.... Oh well, I don't think he will need them to keep you on the

stretcher. Dr. R has you fillling out so much paperwork that you don't have

time to get nervous. By the way, just a hint......be sure to take a copy of

your lastest bloodwork and EKG with you to the hospital. Even if you give it

to Debbie or Barbara or Ann or . I gave them copies at clinic and

they never made it to the hospital and they were going to redo the tests

until I told them I had another copy in the car. Randy went to the car and

brought the copies in and they didn't have to take my blood again or do an

EKG. I don't know what happened to the other copies but I'm glad I had

another copy with me. Sometimes things just get lost in transit. Anyway, if

you have any questions or if you need to talk just call........817 577-0919.

Best Wishes,

Genz

Hey Kim: If a big baby like me can get the surgery done, you can. I didn't

really think I

would go through with it. I told my sister that and she said... " I did. You were

determined " .

And I guess I would because I'm a little over three weeks post-op and I'm

melting by the

minute.

You'll do fine Kim.
