Guest guest
> Hi, i was wondering if Dr. Nase has made any comments on cea Care? > The products sound promising and am curious to know why they are not recommended by Nase? They dont contain the irritating ingredients other products contain, no alcohols etc, so why? One of the ingredients is willowherb or willow bark which is like salicylic acid which Dr. NAse advises against. Please believe this man, I had my worse flare in 13 years after using the salicylic products from SAGE. I know that many rosaceans use and love SAGE but for me, they were the worse. HTH Have you checked out www.canderm.com for the rosacure creme. it contains Lady's thistle which is suppoed to be any anti -inflammatory. HAven't located whether or not salicylic acid is the basis for its anti-inflammatory effect. > >

Willowherb is a natural anti-inflammatory. From http://www.rosaceacare.com/help/help.html#willowh " It has outstanding anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and is very soothing on the skin. In addition to reducing redness, Willowherb has long been thought to be helpful in healing wounds and reducing the pain associated with burns. " If I recall correctly (I don't have my copy of the book at the moment) ceaCare is mentioned in the book, but only briefly as their product lines were reasonably new at the time of publication. There are many good reviews of their products in the archives. My impression is that they are giving very good results. davidp.

I am looking to try the cea Care, have you tried any of their products? do you know anything about Disodium Laureth-Sulfosuccinate, which is an ingredient in the rosacea care cleanser, i couldn't find much on it and was wondering if it is an irritant? thanks Re: Nase > > > > DLG> One of the ingredients is willowherb or willow bark which is like > DLG> salicylic acid which Dr. NAse advises against. > > Willowherb is a natural anti-inflammatory. > > From > > http://www.rosaceacare.com/help/help.html#willowh > > " It has outstanding anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and is > very soothing on the skin.
