After reading the IOM report (see other post) I don't understand the logic behind 750 mg available only by prescription, and under 750 mg available OTC. Anyway, I just checked on iHerb (I've been ordering online from them for years, I've always found them quick, honest and with good prices). They sell Nature's Way niacinamide 500 mg tabs, 100 tabs for $4. Here's a link to all their niacins: http://www.iherb.com/niacin1.html By comparison, Nicomide has: niacinamide/nicotinamide 750 mg zinc oxide 25 mg folic acid 500 mcg The zinc and folic acid is pretty generic stuff for vitamin pills, I figure...I'm going to take the niacin the way you're doing, Matija. Guest guest
I have to second the recommendation of http://www.iherb.com as a resource for vitamins. They are cheap and because they're located in the same state as me (California), I get my order in two days tops. I've never had a problem dealing with them at all. They are my favorite online vitamin store. Take care, Matija > > I found a site which sells Nicomide by prescription, but it costs > $19 > > for 60 tablets.
