and from time to time some squabbling...kinda like a family!

To answer your questions...those that I can..

Absolutely look elsewhere unless you think you can change their mind. Check

with a (ShoutJoy) for a list of PCPs who have supported others on this

list.

If your family members don't approve? (after all they aren't the ones 150

lbs

overweight)

Tell your family you've made up your mind (when you have), ask their support

and let them know that with or without it, you are doing this for yourself.

I know I'm not much help on this one. I told one of my brothers at the

beginning of the process (the one I thought would disagree the most) and he

was so supportive I didn't bother with the others until I was ready to go.

Hubby has been supportive from day one,

Anyone here have BCBS, and how easy was it for them to get approved?

I have Horizon BCBS of NJ. They approved in three weeks. My understanding

of how BCBS works is that everything really goes through the local BCBS

anyway. You being in NC should have no problem at all.

And lastly I saw that you may not be approved if you have had gallbladder

surgery. Anyone here have their gallbladder removed and get approved?

I still have my gallbladder, but I do know that there have been others who

have had the surgery who had prior gallbladder surgery. Check with Dr. R.
