Guest guest
Hello everyone. This is my first post. I am teaching in South Korea right now. I have been researching laser treatment for redness as I'm not terribly happy with my medications' results. I was wondering if anyone had any information or contacts about photoderm treatment in South Korea, specifically the Seoul area. Thank you for any help. Guest guest
Hi , If you go to www.fotofacial.com and click on " Physicians " there is a list of doctors around the world trained in the " fotofacial " photoderm technique by Dr. Bitter Jr. There are two doctors listed in Seoul. Good luck! Jen > Hello everyone. This is my first post. I am teaching in South >Korea right now. Guest guest
Jen, After reading your email I looked at the foto facial web site for clinics in the UK. I found one near where I live but the cost for a 30 minute full face treatment is £450 ($650). I will probably still book an appointment but first I would like to ensure that it is a worth while treatment. I was wondering if you or anybody else out there has had treatment at a foto facial clinic? If so I would be interested to know how much it cost and how good the results were. Also, is this treatment good for general redness or just thread veins? Thanks Stuart > Hi , > > If you go to www.fotofacial.com and click on " Physicians " there is a list of > doctors around the world trained in the " fotofacial " photoderm technique by > Dr. Bitter Jr. There are two doctors listed in Seoul. > > Good luck! > Jen > > > Hello everyone. Guest guest
Hi Stuart, I actually had my treatments with a " photofacial " rather than " fotofacial " trained physician. In case you don't know, " photofacial " is the treatment protocol devised by Dr. Bitter, Sr., while his son Dr. Bitter Jr trains physicians in his own " fotofacial " technique. As far as I know, there are no doctors in the UK that have been trained by Dr. Bitter Sr. It seems to vary how closely individual photoderm physicians follow these protocols. in the group has had treatments in the UK by Dr. , and has posted a positive report about his experience on his cea Treatment Pages at: http://rosacea.ii.net/treatments.html I personally found that photoderm was helpful for general redness as well as visible vessels. Good luck, Jen

Guest guest
Jen, Thanks for the very helpful information. I will probably book an appointment to see Dr. in the next couple of weeks (the clinic just happens to be near by). I am still far from convinced that the treatment will be of any help but at least it shouldn't do any harm. Recent posts about photoderm haven't been encouraging so I will only book one treatment for now. A block of treatments would have a serious affect on my finances so I will get a feel for the treatment before I dive in. I will report back to the group after " foto facial " treatment. If it has reduced the redness in any way and helped the flushing I will be very, very happy. If it hasn't I will just be very poor! Hope you are well and thanks again.
