You can also use these in the recipes like Herb's Bean pancakes in BTVC.

If you're looking for something fun and green to make for St.

's day, I made up a lima bean, banana pancake recipe. It

tastes sweet, but is green. The boys like them.

(For the green color, you'll have to use frozen lima beans to make

them. The dried ones are white in color.)

I'll post the recipe later in a separate message.

This sounds yummy and I never heard it suggested before. You have hit on

something

brand new!

If using DRIED beans instead of fresh remember to soak, rinse and boil two hours

according to instructions for other legumes.
