Guest guest
Hi Marie, I still consider you and all the other June 2nds my littermates. I just have two sets of litters. You will be surprised how much difference two days can make. Every day I feel better and better. The first solid I ate were Better Cheddar Crackers and they were great! I had them on Friday while you were having your dance with Dr. R. I had lasagna on Tuesday and it went down real well. I had a little beef stew from Cracker Barrell on the way home and it was ok. I have eaten the crusty part of a biscuit on two or three occassions and I didn't have any problems. I ate the 1/2 sandwich of tuna on toast for lunch today and it was great. I made the tuna with lots of mayo and a little dill relish no boiled eggs. After Dr. R told us that one post-op ate babyback ribs the day after surgery and has since lost 170 lbs I decided that I would try to eat within reason. I do not feel deprived and I'm still losing weight. He did stress that he does not " recommend " eating this soon. Watermelon is fantastic....you can load it up with the salt we need and it is easy going down and it's real juicy. I've also had grapes, honeydew, cantalope and salad. No problems. Just listen to your body. DO NOT OVER EAT!!!!!!! Doc said the stomach is healed at 5-7 days post -op but I'm still careful not to get too much. I hope you're doing fine!!!!!!
