Guest guest
Hi, my name is . This is the second time I've written in. I am new to the group but not new to rosacea. I am find that I am becoming overwhelmed and depressed with the rosacea and its progression and the lack of help from doctors. I have ocular and facial rosacea. It started 3 years ago. I get so much burning sometimes that I just go to bed. Can anyone explain the burning. I also get it on the skin around my eyes, that is the most painful. I am seeing my fourth dermatologist soon. So far, I have been told by one derm that I have rosacea and by two that I have anxiety. They say that because I get so much burning but not a lot of redness. This is very frustrating for me since all of the reading I have done tells me in every way that it is rosacea. I get very down sometimes because my seems to be resistent to treatment. Minocin makes my skin burn even more. I don't understand why. I am worried that over time my face will become distorted looking. I am also afraid to get pregnant because it may progress the disease. I have not been able to stop smoking but I have limited myself to 1 per day and hope to cut out altogether by end of this week. Is smoking a bad trigger. I am assuming that it is. Does anyone have any answers. What should I ask of my next derm. Can anyone explain why my skin burns so badly. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you very much. --------------------------------- Post your ad for FREE! Yahoo! Canada Personals
