Thank you so much for your information.

I believe the size of my small duct causes the pancreas to retain

digestive enzymes and so the pancreas starts to digest it's self. As I

understand it there are many duct from the pancreas, at least that is what

my doctor told me.

The doctor that noticed the small duct, was not the doctor I go to, but

one I was sent to, so he could do a scope, as the doctor I went to was a

surgeon. I think I might have to go to a doctor that is more a specialist

with the pancreas if I keep having problems.

I have had three attacks, I believe. The first one my blood pressure and

pulse when crazy and I was in intensive care for a while. They tried to find

gall stones but could not. The second one the found a lot of very tiny gall

stones so I had the gall bladder removed, this third one I do not know why

it happened accept it might have been the blood pressure medicine. I have

never drank alcohol.

I have had 7 C. sections and I wondered if that had any affect.

I was on intravenously feeding from the 9 of June until about the 20 of

August.

Also do you know if enzymes taken every day can cause the pancreas to become

lazy?

I really appreciate all your help and information.

I know I need to do better with the diet but like one other person said it

is really hard. It makes life less fun and so far I do not see it affecting

how I feel but I am afraid it is just that I do not see it yet, so each day

I try a little harder to be more careful.

Sincerely

Myrna
