>>Vegetable beef or chicken soup

is pretty good if you need something to gnaw on. :) You

can have crackers, too. My all-time favorite head-hunger

relief is sugar-free popsicles (available at super Walmarts).

They are from Blue Bell or Blue Bunny (Blue something...).

15 calories a piece. I never liked popsicles before surgery,

either. They give you something to " chew " on and have in

your mouth, but they are a liquid, and they don't have a

lot of calories.>>

To and Everyone who has e-mailed me since I posted of my recent puking

experience...

Just to update: I have stayed on complete liquids for two days now, and am

finally starting to feel better. Tonite I took 's advice and had some

vegetable soup, and it was like manna from heaven!!!! (I put it through the

blender before I drank it.) I think it's also the Vitamin A, E, Carafate,

Prilosec, Multivitamin, Citrucel, COCKTAIL that is making me nauseaus....my

poor body is used to eating Yodels and Chocolate milk and Bagels with cream

cheese - I think it's gone into shock from all this healthy stuff going

in!!! (Just kidding all - please don't take me seriously and start

e-mailing me with vitamin advice!!!)

Anyway - I appreciate the practical tips...they really helped. You are a

wonderful support group!
