Guest guest
Hi Gwen, The first thing I did was fill out the patient information form on the website. Then I signed releases for my medical records.> Next I wrote my patient letter to Dr. Rutledge. Meanwhile I was approved for the procedure. I copied the patient manual, the doctors letter and personalized it with my docs name and my name. I then made an appointment to see my PCP. I made sure when I scheduled that they knew I would be there for a while. I talked to him, he was very supportive (I was very nervous) and said he was willing to do anything to help. I have been going to this Doctor for about 15 years. He did not ask me any female questions, just basics, have you every had surgery, what other diets have you tried. Did you research other procedures? He then ordered the tests needed and I was out the door. It is taking him some time to write the letter to Dr. Rutledge, but that is okay. I am waiting on that and my medical records from him and one other doctor. As far as the female stuff goes he wants results that are 1 year old or less. I am fortunate I just had mine. Hope this helps. Lara
