Guest guest
Could those with experience with 5 month regression tell me how long it lasted and what the predominant symptoms were for your child? Also, does anyone see hives on their child, that flare up on the neck, for example, then disappear pretty quickly? I thought we had a problem with my daughter getting bug bites on her neck, but in the middle of winter? And they disappeared so quickly! Then it dawned on me that these were (obviously) hives. Thanks. Nannette, SCD 5.5 months, IBS daughter, , 14 yo, SCD 5.5 months, autism
Guest guest
Nannette, Kali has these hives off and on when she has die-off. Learn from me, don't put anything on it even if it's itchy and don't take benedryl either due to supressing it back into the body and the immune system has a harder time trying to throw out the disturbance the second and or third time around. My daughter's GI doc said that a lot of the kids that were given their MMR and have Autism have this upper body rash now and then. This is what I believe my daughter is trying to get rid of. I have seen this before being a nurse aide and teacher's aide. These poor kids. Just keep going on SCD Nannette. The rashes are less and less over time and it seems that you are right on the mark for die-off and progression.
