Guest guest
Have any of you tried the natural clay compound hair and body wash which you can find in shops which sell health products (maybe even on-line). Ingredients: refined hectorite and montmorillonite clay. The type I have is called Lavaerde and is made by a German company called Logona, and I quote from the box " it is a mineral-rich clay compound med from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. - cleanses hair and skin mechanically. the tiny clay particles bind oil and dirt particles and are rinsed away with water - totally suds-free. Suitable for all skins, but especially recommended for sensitive skin, oily, blemished skin, dandruff and oily hair conditions. " Maybe this could help some of you who are having problems finding something suitable for cleansing and hairwashing. My skin continues to improve (I have just finished the course of antibiotics, so am dreading the return of the pimply look!), I am continuing the metrogel and an aloe cream, and am using a total sunblock which contains both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide with cyclomethicone and dimethicone. It also contains olive oil, calendula and helichrysum, and does not leave that awful white paste on the skin, but is easily absorbed, though the instructions do point out that the best overall protection is obtained by leaving the the cream pasted over the surface of the skin (I don't). My eyes have also seen improvement, but not enough yet. I am continuing the diet which is working wonders for my figure if nothing else, and cannot say that I miss sugars in my life at all (I used to love desserts!). so now dessert consists of either fresh fruit, or dried fruit and almonds. Tea (I loved my afternoon cup of tea with milk!) is now herbal without milk. No coffee! And bread is totally kamut. What I do miss are spicy foods which I used to love. So it's lots of veggies, fresh or cooked, organically farmed chicken, fresh fish, etc.etc. I'm going to be really healthy.......... but is my face going to be less red?? We'll see!!
