Guest guest
MariAn/MariOn is not a very common name... at least outside my family - where there are 4 of us ;-) So meeting someone with the same name is always nice. But it never fails someone will misinterpret it and call me Anne, or or once when I was in 8th grade Martha - LOL (my maiden name is Matha see: n Matha= Martha... my gym teacher accidentally called me it and it stuck for the whole year... I hated it :-)) Anywho - the A and O thing do make it a lot clearer ;-)) My husband's name is Jon, cant make it anymore common, but at least he lost the H.... His mom says, with a last name like Fromknecht she had to make it as short as she could... , I don't know what to tell ya... There were a lot of (s) and Amy(s) on my Aug02 moms group too - everyone just had a pen name MariAn AKA Martha > Re: Isn't having two with the same name great? > > > Not when your name is . Guest guest
Hi n, Fromknecht is german (Frommknecht to be precise) and means " pious farm-hand " :-)). To me it sounds common and is easy to pronounce. Peace Torsten > MariAn/MariOn is not a very common name... at least outside my family - > where there are 4 of us ;-) > So meeting someone with the same name is always nice.
