Ella with Crohns 4yrs old SCD 5 months Great Bloodwork!

We saw our Pediatric GI today and he was floored by how good Ella's

CBC bloodwork came back today. Her Hemoglobin is now normal after

being very elevated. Tomorrow we will get her CRP C reactive

protein result.

She's gained a pound in two months and has totally come out of her

clingy shell: rides her tricycle to the park, races non-stop with

her brother in the hallway, Doesn't have to be held in public places

and even runs ahead.

I was prepared for a heated debate about this " unconventional path. "

The first words out our GI's mouth were " Ella's Hemoglobin is

normal! I need to get the name of that diet book from you. I hope

its okay I gave the copy you gave to me to another set of

parents " He wants to buy 6 more copies of BTVC!

One of the finest days of my life! I know you will with your

determination, hardwork, and these great people here on this group

that support you. We have a ways to go ourselves but with such great

results the path is all laid out!

Isn't it so WONDERFUL when the doctors mouth just falls to the floor....stumped!

This is what happened with our adopted daughter at her last evaluation with her

neurologist (she is the one with hyperekplexia/cerebral palsy.......guys this

was the same baby that would not walk! I know that we messed around with other

ways of eating before the last thirty days of SCD...which helped.....but I tell

you....what I am witnessing in the last thirty days with my three children is

just WONDEFUL....A " miracle " to these doctors... " antidotal " evidence.....what

ever they want to call it...WE KNOW DON'T WE?????....we are what we eat! We are

what toxins that seep through our leaky guts! Thank the lord for Dr. Haas and

Elaine...and now all you wonderful people who help to spread the word and keep

us on track!

ONE BIG GIANT HUG FOR ALL OF US for sticking through the tough times and being

there for one another....I was so alone before you guys...thank you for being

there!
