<< Hi all!

I have some good news to report...my PCP will support me in my MGB

endeavor!!! I have had a horrible time with doctors in the past, and

was dreading having to deal with yet another one. I had found a new doc

last year and he seemed nice enough, but I had no idea whether how he

would respond to this surgery that I want/need to have. So I provided

him with a large packet of info and followed up with a call to make sure

he had received it. Then today I called to kindof " feel " him out...if

he was a definite no, then I would cancel my upcoming appointment with

him and try looking for a doc who would support me. Well, he said he

was willing to support me since I obviously had done my research and was

well-informed!!! Yippee!!! This may seem like such a small hurdle to

most, but to me it is wonderful news. I really didn't want to have to

" try out " more doctors!

I know that I have a fight to face with my insurance..but have gotten

some encouraging news on that front as well. So I've won a small battle

today and am very encouraged!

Now, I want to prepare as much as I can before Thursday--that's my doc

appointment and I'd like to make that as fruitful as possible. Please if

you have suggestions for this, email me! I want to get my packet into

Dr. R so we can get the insurance battle rolling.
