My doctor recommended that I do one (I haven't done it yet) and I thought that your symptoms sounded similar. The test kit I was given is from Great Plains Lab. I have to say I really like the fact that Great Plains sends a copy of the test results to the patient (in addition to the doctor, of course). This way I have time to prepare my questions before my doctor's visit (instead of thinking of them afterwards!) I wasn't clear if you had used Great Smokies for a stool test or for another test. I did a stool analysis on my daughter in 2001 from Great Smokies and I thought that they did a good job. The test told me what was wrong and also gave herbal products that would be helpful in fighting each species of yeast overgrowth.
