Guest guest
Totally hairball question but - have you ever heard of this? My massage therapist told me about a 4 day seminar she attended that taught the therapists how to do a lymph system massage. The massage is supposed to free up the fluids from inside the lymph system so the body can pass them. Something to look into? Guest guest
Edema does accompany rosacea for some of us. It does for me. Sometimes damaged blood vessels can damage some of the lymph pathways. What happens is that lymph fluid stops flowing freely and can accumulate in the areas where you have rosacea flares, causing visible swelling. For me, this swelling happens in my cheeks since that is the area where I have flares the most. I don't know if you have Dr. Nase's book, but you can see the swelling in his face in the picture where he was at his absolute worse rosacea-wise. After he started to treat his rosacea successfully, the swelling subsided. I hope that helps. Take care, Matija > What is rosacea edema? I've never heard of it.
