A friend gave me a book by Rolbert Fulghum. The Title is: All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. It was last printed in 1988, but is sort of making the rounds again. The back cover summarizes what he feels he learned in school early and what we all should or could do: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Say your " re sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush (the toilet). Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life--learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together. Be aware if wonder. Love to all at cfparents and at crataegus, webmasters, monitors, list members and their families at this time of the year. n Rojas, wcf, CFRD, mom of three older adults, youngest with cf ps One of my grandchildren feels that the best solution to the world's problems is to have kids from age eight to eleven run everything; not a bad idea, considering what we alleged " grown-ups " seem to have done!
