Guest guest
For those of you who rely heavily on cooking sprays as an oil substitute for your low-fat cooking, I thought I would mention something you may want to know about its ingredients. As you know, ingredients are listed on a product with the highest quantity listed first, decreasing down to the smallest. The second ingredient in Pam Cooking Spray (original flavor) is GRAIN ALCOHOL! Not that any of us use but just a trace amount, and we certainly aren't drinking it....yuck!.....but, I thought that was interesting and it came as a big surprise to me, as I use the product frequently. I also use several flavored varieties of cooking spray like olive oil, garlic or butter, but these I buy in my store brand (Kroger), and interesting enough, these DO NOT contain grain alcohol. So for any of you that are sensitive about the alcohol issue, that's just another factoid for your consideration. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth hhessgriffeth@...
