Toni, I am so bummed I missed you! I just could not get out of there fast

enough. lol I guess I equate that with if im gone im safe..hehe

Well, I am glad you are doing well. I tried to find people walking around but

if you were not in that wing i missed you, and I could not focus on the

names i was so wasted..lol We can meet in September @ the picnic..I hope

Dear Folks,

I'm finally back at my computer. I was part of the infamous May 31

and June 1 littermates. What a group! Sadly I fell asleep and missed

the big dinner at Sorrentos. The reason I fell asleep is because I

ate such a HUGE lunch a Ruby Tuesdays that all I could do was lay

down!! (that " last meal " thing went on and on for weeks) The waiting

room before surgery is a great place to bond. Thank God for Flo and

her kind sister Dot, Lori and her sweety pie hubby , Francine

and her sweet sister Cory. The waiting would've been hell without all

of them there.

Trish, I stopped at 10am to see you at the hospital and you had

already left!! Everyone's experience is so different it's like we

were all in a different hospital. I think for the amount bucks Dr. R

brings to that hospital they should give him his own wing. Durham

Regional is a dreadfully understaffed facility. I've had nine

surgeries in 4 different hospitals and all I can say is I'm glad I

was there for only 24 hours.

I'm thrilled to be safely on the other side. Dr. R is an incredible

surgeon and a nice person to boot. I miss chewing food but I'm not

hungry. Can wait to get to a " regular " diet.
