Hello all,

We actually did it! We baked and slaved in the kitchen for two days (Josh

did the most work), and we made two HUGE trays of goodies for the folks at

our local CF clinic. We had chocolate chip cookies, 4 spice crackles,

brownies, candied pecans and buckeye balls (similar to peanut butter ball

recipe posted recently). Needless to say we were very popular.

Josh got out of school early because of exams so we got to go during the

early afternoon. I took a picture of him in front of the Christmas tree

holding a sign that said " Thank you for keeping me healthy " . I have to say

I love my digital camera! We printed it up and delivered it with the

cookies. He was so proud of himself. He really enjoys baking and wanted them

to know he had made them himself. I posted this picture on the cfparents

photo page. It's titled 's cookies. You can see that silly grin

yourselves.

I'm feeling kind of giddy myself. We are getting so close to Christmas, most

of the presents are bought, my bills are paid. And according to my kids,

they are all getting their hearts desire. It's all smooth sailing from here.

No post Christmas breakdown this year. Maybe I'll start an new

tradition......

Hehe...sounds like you guys had a lot of fun delivering the goodies!

Glad to hear you don't have to worry about post-holiday bills, too. We used two

of my paychecks this year, and paid for everything cash so we wouldn't

overspend, and we won't have to worry about bills (except a few medical ones) at

all this year.
