Hi: I saw the e-mail letter you sent Martha asking if she knew anyone who is an expert on teen suicide for Latinos. I am a licensed psychologist. My name is M. Chavez. As part of my practice I do interact with cases involving teen suicide in the Latino population. My office is in Arcadia. However, I would not consider myself to be an expert in terms of being able to give you statistics and comparative data regarding Latino teenage suicide versus other groups. My "expertise" is more in terms of having interaction with this population as it occasionally interfaces with my clinical work. However, if I can be of any assistance, go ahead and e-mail me. Meanwhile I will think of any other colleagues I know who are more versed in this area than myself.
